Ramadan:

Many of the refugee families who arrive in Tucson are Muslim, and Ramadan is their holy holiday.  At the end of Ramadan is a celebration much like our American Christmas with gifts exchanged, new clothes, and visits from house to house.

This is a great opportunity to bless our new Muslim friends and also so many other families from many different faiths.  Would you and your church group like to put together a “Welcome to America basket” and deliver it to a new refugee family?
