For many teens and newcomers getting a driver’s license in Tucson is a must! We offer driving practice and are always looking for volunteers who are willing to ride along!
Family Events
Think trips to the zoo, International Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Caroling, and so much more! Throughout the year we have several events that are open to the entire refugee community and their families. So much fun!
Family Partnerships
Can you imagine coming to a new place and feeling alone? Many of our newest neighbors feel that way. We partner families to walk along side and develop relationships with families through fun events and visiting each other.

Men’s social groups are a time for volunteers and refugee men to get together to bond, learn, and enjoy time getting to know each other better. Men volunteers are always welcome to join!
Teen Boy’s Group

International Kids Kamp
International Kids Camp began in 2010 and is full of fun and learning for international and refugee children (ages 5-12) from all over the world who have come to live in Tucson. We have designed a FREE program that gives children something to look forward to when not in school. Our program includes fun songs, games, crafts, stories, a halal meal, and a special field trip to Defy Trampoline Park. We study about men of God who are common in the Bible and the Quran
International Kids Club
Our International Kids Club is a weekly highlight for refugee children in the Tucson community. At Kids Club we meet children in their neighborhoods to play games, share stories, eat snacks, and have fun. Join us for weekly play dates, fun field trips, family picnics, and more!
Trauma Informed Care Groups
Our refugee youth and adults have been through layers of trauma having run from their homeland, and resettled into an unknown country, language, and culture. Our trauma care program seeks to build community, conversations and skills to cope with the past in order to thrive in the future. Developed by professionals in the field, this 8 week curriculum helps people deal with their own trauma, recognize trauma in others and how to help their children cope on their way to resilience from traumatic situations.
Tutoring for Adults
Learning English is an essential skill that refugees need in order to be successful in Tucson. We offer tutoring to adults studying English and we also help them practice for their citizenship tests. You can aid in creating boundless opportunities for refugee men and women by volunteering as a tutor!
Tutoring for Youth
Imagine moving to a new country and not knowing the language and then trying to do schoolwork in that new language! For many of our refugee kids this is a huge challenge. We offer tutoring to all ages of youth. Will you invest in the future of a refugee today?
